The UK is mulling an Australia-like social media ban for users under 16

OMG u guys! 🤯 I'm totally sensing a major shift in how we approach social media with kids 📱👦. Like, think about it - infinite scrolling is literally designed to keep us engaged for hours on end, and that's not even good for adults 😂. Can you imagine what it's doing to young minds? The more I think about it, the more I'm pro this ban 💯. It's all about setting boundaries and ensuring our little ones are safe online 🚫. And let's be real, parents are probably stressing out too much anyway, so maybe some extra guidance is needed 👴👵. If Australia is already rocking a similar system, why not the UK? 🤷‍♀️ The only thing that would make me more excited is if they also implemented stricter rules on online safety for teens 🚀!

I'm not sold on this idea 🤔. I mean, don't get me wrong, online safety is super important, but are we gonna overdo it? Banning social media altogether for kids might stifle their creativity and ability to connect with others online. Plus, isn't that just a slippery slope? We're already seeing some pretty strict regulations around online content, what's next? 🤷‍♀️
