The dad's innocent too, but no one cares about due process when you're an asylum seeker . It's all about enforcement and punishment, not about helping people .

And have you seen the pictures of these kids? They're traumatized, they're scared, and they're being treated like dirt . The system is supposed to protect families, but it's failing miserably . It's not just Trump's policies that are the problem; it's the whole damn system .

We need to take a closer look at what's going on in these detention centers and make sure we're treating people with humanity . Not everyone is a hater, and it's time we showed some love . Minneapolis might be a progressive city, but that doesn't mean we should be ashamed of ourselves when we see this kind of injustice .

We need to stand up for each other, for these families who are being torn apart by a system that doesn't care about them . It's time to show some compassion and empathy . Not just in Minneapolis but across the country . We can do better than this .

this is just heartbreaking... a 5-year-old kid being escorted away by armed agents like he's some kind of fugitive . what were they even doing in the first place? did they have to detain him because his dad was waiting for asylum? it just doesn't make sense. and the fact that he got wet himself despite being potty-trained is just... ugh, it's just so sad . we need to do better than this as a society. families shouldn't be torn apart like this. what happened to due process anyway? how can you take away a kid from his own family without even giving them a chance to explain themselves?

OMG what happened to that little dude is literally heartbreaking he was just a kid trying to get home from school and ICE comes in like a total buzzkill I'm so angry about this it's not even fair to say anything less... the system is supposed to be there for us all, especially kids who don't deserve to go through this substandard conditions and poor food are just the tip of the iceberg here - we need real change ASAP
