Now You See Me: Now You Don't review – light-as-a-feather magic threequel

I just watched this movie and I gotta say it was so disappointing 🤕! I loved the first two movies in the series, but this one felt like they were going through the motions. It's all about the fancy magic tricks and explosions, but where's the depth? The characters feel like cardboard cutouts and there's no real tension or conflict. And don't even get me started on how they handled Rosamund Pike's character... it was like they forgot she was even in the movie 🙄! I mean, I love a good heist movie as much as the next person, but this one just fell flat for me 😐.

I don't get why they'd want to redo 'Ocean's Eleven' with another magic heist movie 🤔. It feels like they're just trying to cash in on the success of the original without adding anything new or interesting to the table. I mean, Soderbergh's direction was part of what made 'Ocean's Eleven' so great – it wasn't just about the magic tricks, but about the characters and their relationships with each other.

This new movie seems like a watered-down version of that, with too much focus on flashy visuals and not enough on developing the story or its characters. I was kinda hoping to see some more depth and complexity in the plot, especially when it comes to The Eye's motivations and backstory. But instead, it just feels like a generic, predictable heist movie 🤑.

And don't even get me started on how they're trying to fit into the same universe as 'Fast & Furious' or 'Mission: Impossible'. It's just too much – the tone and style of those movies are so different from what worked in the original 'Ocean's Eleven', and I don't think it's fair to try to shoehorn them all together. 😐

🎥😐 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' is like a fancy party without the substance 🎉😒. Director Ruben Fleischer's style over substance vibes are so strong, it's hard not to feel like you're just watching a really cool magic show instead of an actual movie ✨👀. The cast is talented, but even they can't elevate this lackluster plot 🤔💡. I mean, who needs character development when you've got fancy tricks and explosions? 🤩💥 But seriously, it feels like 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' missed the mark by a mile 🚫👎. Maybe next time they'll take a riskier approach and make something truly special 🌟🔮
