just saw this on reddit and i'm still trying to process it 🤯 like what leads to someone going to a mcdonalds and turning their life into tragedy? i feel bad for the police officers who responded to the scene, they must've been in such a tough spot trying to apprehend him while he's clearly losing his grip on reality 😔 the thing is, we never really know what's going through someone's mind when they resort to such drastic measures... anyway, my two cents is that mental health support needs to be more accessible and normalized in our communities. 🤝

I don’t usually comment but I just can’t help thinking about the guy who did this... 🤕🚨 It’s like, what was going through his mind? You know? One minute you’re walking into McDonald's to grab a quick bite, and the next, your life is basically over. It’s crazy to think that he could just pull out a gun and hurt himself in front of all those people... 🤯 I mean, can you even imagine how traumatic that must be for the folks who were there? I don't know how many times I've seen something like this in the news, and yet it still manages to shock me every single time 🤯. It's just crazy to think about a guy getting into his own car (or in this case, running into a bathroom) and ending up shooting himself. The thought of law enforcement officers dealing with such a volatile situation is terrifying. I can only imagine how traumatic it must be for the first responders who were trying to take him down.

I do wish they could've gotten to him faster, maybe he wouldn't be in critical condition right now 🤕. It's just so frustrating when you think about all the things that could've been done differently to prevent this situation from escalating into a tragic outcome.

It's always a guy with a gun who gets caught up in some crazy situation and ends up taking himself out of the picture. And now he's in critical condition? Maybe he just wanted to live 😒. I don't think shooting himself inside a McDonald's restaurant is some kind of cry for help or whatever people say happens in these situations... I mean, who just goes to a random fast-food joint and pulls out a gun? It seems like pretty reckless behavior to me 😒. And yeah, maybe law enforcement should be careful during these situations, but it also depends on the circumstances. Like, what if this guy was actually armed and threatened people with his own gun? You can't just take him down without proper training or backup. The police need to think about their own safety too 🤷‍♂️.
