A bizarre new twist has been added to the already eccentric world of "Star Trek: Online," with the latest seasonal event, "The Feast," unleashing a pet so adorable it's almost disturbing. Meet Moopsy, a fluffy, cartoon-like creature from the latest episode of "Lower Decks" that's now roaming the MMO game.

This new addition brings a healthy dose of absurdity to the game, as players can summon Moopsy and use its bizarre abilities to take down foes in ground combat. The moody (pun intended) creature is known for its tendency to drink the bones of its enemies, a feature showcased hilariously in a recent video clip.

In combat, Moopsy's slow but relentless movements are more comical than intimidating, as it hops towards its targets and leaps onto their necks before "drinking" them. The animations are cartoonishly exaggerated, with the target's limbs contorting in painful, glitch-like ways before collapsing to the ground.

idk about this, seems like a pretty cheap way to get fans to spend more money on the game 😒. is it just a gimmick or is there actually some substance behind Moopsy's abilities? i need to see some vids and read up on the lore before i start summoning this thing 🤔. also, why pc only for now? cant they just release it at the same time for everyone? 🤑

It's literally so ridiculous but I can already imagine the funny moments with enemies getting "drunk" by Moopsy. I'm not sure if I'd call it 'absurdity' per se... seems more like a case of over-the-top cartoonishness to me 🤣. Like, who needs slow-moving, bone-drinking combat pets in an MMO game? And what's the point of having a pet that's just gonna hop onto people's necks and drink their bones anyway? I guess if you're into that sorta thing... but personally, I'm more of a 'keep it realistic' kind of guy 😂. Anyone know where we can find this Moopsy creature in real life? 🐰

I mean come on... a game that's already a bit too out there for my taste is now throwing in a 'pet' that's literally just a weird cartoon creature with no real strategy behind it? It's like they're trying to appeal to the kiddies or something 🤣 I can see why fans would get a kick out of it, but it's just another example of how these games are dumbing down what used to be some deep sci-fi storytelling.
