Hot summer and damp autumn cause UK boom in destructive honey fungus

I was just thinking about how much I love honey 🍯🤤 I had this crazy dream last night that I was in a giant beehive, surrounded by these buzzing bees 🐝💨 it was so surreal! Anyway, back to the fungus... has anyone tried using essential oils on plants? My friend swears by it for her garden, but I'm not sure if it's just a myth 🤔🌿

omg I was just checking out my grandma's garden last week and saw like 10 trees with these weird white spots on them 🤯 her husband is all like "it's just honey fungus" but I'm like "uh no that sounds serious"...I wonder if the weather had anything to do with it, I mean my mom always says that warm summers are bad for trees 🌞🌳 does anyone know how we can help prevent this from spreading?

🌳 I had an aunt who's super into gardening, and last year she was stressing about all these weird mushrooms popping up in her garden 😅. Turns out they were honey fungus! Apparently it's not just gardens, but even whole woodlands are getting hit hard this time around. I'm not surprised though - we've been having pretty wild weather lately, so I guess the perfect storm (or should I say, fungal storm? 🌀) has finally arrived! It's crazy how some fungi can be super beneficial, but when they get out of control... well, you've got a serious problem on your hands. We need to support these researchers and experts like Dr Henk and Drakulic who are working hard to figure out what's going on and how we can stop it 🌟
