GOG's Autumn Sale Brings Discounts on Cyberpunk 2077, Silent Hill 2, and More

PC gamers are in for a treat with GOG's annual Autumn Sale, which kicked off today. The sale will run until November 4th, offering discounts on popular games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Silent Hill 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available at $21, down from its normal price of $60, while the excellent DLC, Phantom Liberty, can be picked up for $21, a 30% discount. In contrast, GOG's classic horror game Silent Hill 2 has seen a significant reduction in price, with an offer of 50% off, bringing it down to $35.

One notable title that stands out from the rest is Disco Elysium - The Final Cut, which can be purchased for just $10, representing a massive 75% discount. For those interested in exploring older games, GOG has also reduced prices on titles like Doom (2016), Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, and EA gems such as Spore Collection and SimCity 3000 Unlimited.

The reason behind these discounts may be attributed to GOG's preservation efforts for classic titles, which have led to difficulties maintaining the older games. According to Marcin Paczynski, senior business development manager at GOG, maintaining the program has proven more challenging than initially anticipated.

While it's uncertain what prompted this sale and how long it will last, gamers can take advantage of these discounts before November 4th.

can't believe they're selling cyberpunk 2077 for 35 bucks , I mean I already bought it but some people might be hesitant to spend that much on a game... also I'm kinda surprised about the price drop on silent hill 2, it's such an iconic game . but at the same time, i get why they're doing this sale - all those classic games are getting a bit dusty ... and omg $10 for disco elysium? what a steal!

ugh, another reason for me to upgrade my rig I mean, who doesn't love a good discount on classic games? gotta say though, $10 for Disco Elysium - The Final Cut is insane . I'm loving this Autumn Sale on GOG! The prices for Cyberpunk 2077 are crazy low, I think the Phantom Liberty DLC is a total must-get now . And I've been eyeing Disco Elysium for ages, $10 is almost like stealing it . It's great that they're offering discounts on older games too, I'm thinking of replaying some classic Doom and Fallout games .

I do wonder why they're having a sale this year though... maybe it's because the preservation efforts are proving to be more expensive than expected ? Either way, I'm not complaining, 75% off Disco Elysium is a no-brainer for me . Has anyone else picked up any of these games during the sale?
