Four Suspects Behind Bars, Fifth Still on the Run in San Jose Shooting Case
Police have made significant progress in their investigation into a summer shooting incident in San Jose, arresting four suspects and leaving one at large. The altercation occurred around 11:05pm on August 4th near Dry Creek Road and Marques Avenue, prompting officers to respond to the scene only to find the suspects had already fled.
According to police, a group of five teenagers got into a heated verbal exchange that escalated into gunfire, with multiple shots fired in the area. However, fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. One unoccupied vehicle parked nearby was also struck by a bullet.
Detectives quickly launched an investigation and identified four of the suspects involved in the shooting. A 17-year-old San Jose boy, who served as the primary shooter, had already been taken into custody at Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall for an unrelated offense. The other three suspects were arrested the following day in San Jose.
Police also seized a pair of handguns during their investigation. Two of those suspects are currently being held at Santa Clara County Jail on charges related to conspiracy and gun-related offenses, while the third suspect is being detained at Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for conspiracy.

how did the police even track them down so fast?! they're saying one was already in custody for another crime, but still, it's suspicious... where's the source on this guy being the primary shooter tho? what makes him "the" shooter? 
and btw, why is there no pic of the 5th suspect out yet? seems like an easy way to get info out to the public 
OMG u guyz, i cant believe its finally happening!! they caught those suspects who were involved in that crazy shooting incident in San Jose!!! 
i mean its so crazy to think about how fast the police were able to track them down and get them behind bars... especially with one still on the run lol! 
anyway i hope the 5th suspect gets caught soon too, so we can finally have some peace of mind again

I mean, yeah, it's great that the police were able to catch four of the suspects already! Four is still better than none, right? 
I know it's still frustrating that one person is on the loose, but I'm sure the police will find them eventually! In the meantime, let's all just try to stay calm and focused on the progress they have made so far 
. Like, four suspects and no one gets hurt? That's gotta be some crazy luck on the police side 
. And now they're leaving it up to us civilians to find the last guy? That's a bit much, innit? I mean, what if he's still got guns or something? 
Still, kudos to them for solving three of the cases already! Guess that hotline is gonna be pretty busy soon

! It's crazy to think about how quickly the police were able to piece together what happened and catch those suspects off guard. I mean, four people are behind bars now, which is a huge deal. And I know the fact that no one got hurt during the whole thing is just a major miracle 
. Still, it's not over yet - that fifth suspect is still out there, and we need to keep pushing for their capture

. It feels like they're just trying to sweep this under the rug and not get to the bottom of what really happened. I mean, shouldn't we be demanding answers from whoever is behind the bullets? The fact that no one was hurt during the shooting doesn't necessarily mean it's not a big deal. And honestly, who are these detectives anyway? How can we trust they're doing their job when they let this guy get away? 
- easy to follow and all that. But what really gets me is how they're handling the fifth suspect. Like, should they be pushing for a public ID or keeping it under wraps? The format on this site is great btw 
anyway, its good that they didn't get anyone hurt during the incident, fingers crossed they catch that last guy soon. does anyone think they'll actually find him before it's too late? 
. It's crazy how quickly things escalated into violence. I think it's great that the police were able to catch four of them already, but at the same time, you can't help but wonder what led up to this point and if anyone else knows more about what happened.
. and what's up with these kids, having guns and shooting around? 4 arrested but still one on the loose... gotta keep an eye out for that kid 
... I mean, have they checked for surveillance footage around Dry Creek Road? Or maybe there's something fishy about those two handguns seized...
So they got this one guy who's always been a troublemaker, gets arrested for another crime and suddenly becomes a suspect in this shooting case... 
If that kid was involved in the first place, wouldn't it be pretty obvious where the second guy came from?
The only thing we have to fear is fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.
. I mean, I get that they're just trying to have a good time, but come on! This is the USA, we should know better than to resort to violence 
. And now four of them are behind bars and one's still on the run... that's some serious anxiety for their families 
. But at the same time, I'm glad no one got hurt, that's a huge relief 
.
