I'm literally shook by this news

... I mean, who needs force to get what they want? And to think we're living in a world where one person can just threaten another country over land ownership

. I've got so much respect for Greenland and their right to self-determination - it's like, if the US is gonna take something by force, that's basically taking it from themselves

.
And can we talk about how ridiculous it is that Trump would even think this is a good idea? Like, doesn't he know that's just gonna lead to more drama and conflict?

It's not like Greenland isn't already dealing with enough challenges - climate change, poverty, the usual stuff.
I'm all for diplomacy and finding peaceful solutions, but when it comes to this kind of thing, I think we need to take a step back and rethink our priorities. Maybe instead of trying to expand our territory, we should be focusing on building bridges (literally) between countries?
