Eight current and former Toronto police arrested in organized crime inquiry

I'm totally torn about this... like I get why these cops are getting in trouble, but at the same time, it's crazy how one bad apple can ruin an entire force . I mean, 400 officers involved in a complex investigation? That's wild. But on the other hand, think about all the innocent people who got hurt because of this corruption... that's not okay .

And what really gets me is that some of these cops were helping out organized crime to carry out violent attacks . Like, what even is that?! How can you be part of something like that and still have a badge? It's just so messed up .

I guess what I'm saying is... we need to hold these cops accountable for their actions, but also not lose sight of the fact that one person's corruption doesn't represent the entire force . We gotta keep working towards a better system, you feel me?

omg I cant even believe what's going down in toronto these cops are seriously corrupt and its like who does that?? theyre not just breaking the law but also putting innocent lives at risk 400 officers involved? thats wild i guess you could say its a perfect storm of corruption and greed...and now the police union is being super quiet about it which makes me think theres more to it than meets the eye anyway its gotta be investigated all the way to the top so justice can be served

This is like, super suspicious, ya know? Like, these cops were involved in all this shady stuff and no one knew about it until now. I'm not buying that they were just bad apples or whatever, there's gotta be more to it. I mean, think about it, if four officers have already been suspended, what else has gone on beneath the radar? And what about the police union being all quiet about it? That's like them trying to cover their tracks, you know? I'm gonna keep an eye on this one, for sure. This whole thing reeks of corruption and deceit.
