I'm totally torn about this... like I get why these cops are getting in trouble, but at the same time, it's crazy how one bad apple can ruin an entire force
. I mean, 400 officers involved in a complex investigation? That's wild. But on the other hand, think about all the innocent people who got hurt because of this corruption... that's not okay
.
And what really gets me is that some of these cops were helping out organized crime to carry out violent attacks
. Like, what even is that?! How can you be part of something like that and still have a badge? It's just so messed up
.
I guess what I'm saying is... we need to hold these cops accountable for their actions, but also not lose sight of the fact that one person's corruption doesn't represent the entire force
. We gotta keep working towards a better system, you feel me?
