Donald Trump says he has 'obligation' to sue BBC in Fox News interview – video

US President Donald Trump has stated that he feels compelled to take legal action against the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) after being interviewed by a Fox News correspondent, according to footage from the interview.

In the conversation, which took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Trump revealed that he believes he has an obligation to sue the BBC. He made this claim amidst tensions between the US and UK governments, with both sides engaging in a diplomatic spat over various issues, including trade and intelligence cooperation.

Trump's statement was sparked by his criticism of the BBC's coverage of him, which he claims is biased against him. He accused the network of being "very unfair" to him and suggested that it had an agenda that was opposed to his policies.

The president's threat to sue comes as relations between Washington and London have been strained in recent months. The UK government has also taken issue with some of Trump's comments on issues like Brexit and climate change, which he made during a visit to Britain last year.

It remains to be seen whether Trump will actually follow through on his promise to take legal action against the BBC, but his threat has sent shockwaves through the diplomatic community.

OMG, this is so juicy 🤣! Like, I'm surprised he didn't threaten to sue Fox News too after that interview 😂. It's crazy how he thinks he can just take on a global network like BBC and win. The drama between US and UK is getting out of hand, and now Trump wants to bring the heat with his lawyers? 🚨 Not sure if it's all about trying to get attention or what, but either way, this is some wild stuff 💥. I mean, have you seen the BBC's coverage of him? It can't be that bad for him to want to sue... maybe he's just not used to people calling him out 🤷‍♂️. Either way, we'll be keeping an eye on this one 🔍!

🤣 so now trump thinks he can sue the bbc for being biased? like, dude, you're not exactly the most sympathetic guy in the world 🙄. i mean, have you seen your hair lately? 😂 it's like a comb-over nightmare! anyway, if trump really does go through with this, i'll be here on the edge of my seat waiting for the thrilling court drama that is sure to ensue 🤣. btw, has anyone else noticed that fox news is basically just trump's personal propaganda channel? 📰💁‍♂️

🤯 I think this is gonna get messy... I've got sources saying that Trump's team is already talking to some UK lawyers about a possible libel lawsuit against the BBC 📝. Like, what even is going on here? The guy just had a convo with Fox News and now he's all bent outta shape because they didn't give him a free pass to trash the BBC 😂. I mean, I get it, Trump's got some beefs with the UK gov, but come on... this is just gonna make things worse 🤦‍♂️.

OMG, can you even believe this? So now it's like Trump is trying to flex his muscles over the BBC 🤣. Newsflash, Donald, suing a news org isn't gonna make your problems go away. It's just gonna make you look like a total sore loser 😒. And honestly, I'm kinda surprised he didn't try this sooner. Like, when did the BBC ever even say anything bad about him? 🤷‍♂️ Still, it's all part of his master plan to distract from whatever real issues are going on in DC... or so we're told 😉.

I'm not sure what's more surprising - Trump's claim that the BBC is being "very unfair" to him or that he thinks suing them is a viable option 🤔. I mean, come on, dude! If you're gonna take on the BBC, can't you just have a calm conversation about it instead of threatening to sue them? And what exactly would he be suing them for - bad coverage? Newsflash, Donald: news outlets are supposed to criticize politicians, that's their job! 📰

I'm also wondering if this whole thing is just another distraction from the real issues between the US and UK governments. It seems like Trump is trying to shift the focus away from his own controversies and onto something he can control - a lawsuit against the BBC. Let's see how long that lasts... 🤷‍♂️

🤔 I think it's pretty wild that Trump is even considering suing the BBC over an interview 📺. Like, isn't that what journalists are for? To ask tough questions and hold people in power accountable? 🤷‍♂️ It seems like he's just trying to bully them into giving him more favorable coverage 📰.

And honestly, I'm a bit surprised that the BBC hasn't already sued him over some of his tweets 😒. The guy has no filter when it comes to speech. But I guess that's not how diplomacy works, is it? 🤝 It's all about finding common ground and working together... unless you're Trump, then it's more about trying to get your way and stirring up drama 🔥.

What do people think, though? Do they think the BBC should stand its ground and face a lawsuit from Trump, or are there other ways for them to address his grievances without resorting to court? 🤔

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, I mean, it's not 🤔. Trump's all bent outta shape because the BBC isn't giving him the coverage he wants, and now he's threatening to sue them? Like, what's next, suing the press corps for reporting facts that make him uncomfortable? 😂 I think it's pretty rich coming from someone who's constantly attacking the media himself. And honestly, if he really thinks the BBC is biased against him, maybe he should take a closer look at his own Twitter feed 📱...
