DIA workers say museum’s Diego Rivera murals inspired them to form a union - Detroit Metro Times

🤗 just saw this news about the Detroit Institute of Arts workers demanding fair treatment and it's really inspiring! I mean, who doesn't love Diego Rivera's murals, right? 🎨 they're like, so iconic. And to think that these workers are fighting for the same things he fought for - fairness, recognition, job security... it's crazy how his legacy lives on in their struggle.

Personally, I can relate to Tyler's story, you know? dealing with a disability and feeling like you don't have a support system can be really tough. But hearing about this union effort makes me feel hopeful. Maybe it's time for us to re-evaluate our priorities and make sure that workers are treated with the respect they deserve.

anyway, I'm totally signing that letter of solidarity 📨👏. who's with me? 💕
