I'm so hyped 4 the Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Houston Half Marathon next month! I've been thinking about signing up 2 do it myself, but my schedule's kinda tight lol. Can u imagine runnin' through downtown H-Town with all those other crazy runners? 
It's gonna be so much fun spectatin' with friends & family though! We'll def have to set up a cheering squad 
at the finish line. And omg, I almost forgot 2 mention RunFest on Discovery Green - that sounds like SO much fun! They're gonna have music, food, & more! Who else is excited for this marathon weekend? 
it's always amazing to see thousands of runners come together from all around the world to crush a 26.2 miles. i love that they're adding this new start-line system with six corrals, it's gonna be so cool to see people racing in different groups and competing against each other.

it's crazy to think about how many people will be gathering in one place on sunday... but at the same time, it's amazing to see all these ppl from around the world come together to support each other. 
they're also expecting a huge turnout for Aramco this year, with registration already being flooded

. Plus, did you know that last year's event saw over $1.3m raised for local charities?

. Because, you know, the real thrill is in seeing who can start in which corral... Not like they'll all just be trying not to get trampled on the starting line

. Like, can't we just have a nice quiet weekend without all the runners taking over the city? I mean, I guess it's cool that there are six corrals for the start line, so everyone can be guaranteed their spot... unless they're like me and get stuck in traffic on Friday
