omg this is getting crazy! so china is blocking nvidia's h200 chips from coming in and now suppliers are all like nope we ain't makin no more parts lol what's good with that? i mean, i get it china wants to protect its own tech industry and all but 25% tariff on a chip that was supposed to ship as early as march is wild
I'm surprised by this development ... I mean, you'd think that after all the hype around AI and innovation, we'd see more collaboration between nations, not less. It's like, what's a few billion bucks in tech exports gonna hurt either side? The US is basically saying "no" to China just because they want to keep their edge on the AI game. Meanwhile, China's probably just gonna find other ways to develop their own tech... and who knows, maybe even create something that'll give the US a run for its money

Are we just gonna assume that China's gonna use this tech for nefarious purposes without any concrete evidence? It seems like a classic case of paranoia to me...
come on, can't we just have a chill relationship with china already? like, i get it, there are tensions and all that jazz, but does it really have to be this complicated? these h200 chips are just tech, right? can't we just use them for good or something? anyway, i'm not surprised china is blocking the shipment. they're always playing hardball when it comes to trade deals and stuff. and what's up with us having a 25% tariff on it now? that's just ridiculous. maybe instead of imposing tariffs, we should be trying to figure out ways to actually have a mutually beneficial relationship with china
this is like a big game of cat and mouse between china & us... both sides got to be super careful with their moves so they dont wanna mess up global tech supply chain but at the same time, we gotta remember that china's all about building its own tech empire & they cant afford to get left behind meanwhile, nvidia's just trying to make a profit like anyone else... it's all about finding a balance between being friends & not letting one country gain an unfair advantage
