Child struck by Waymo near elementary school near Los Angeles

😕 This incident is super unsettling... like, how are we supposed to trust these autonomous vehicles if they can't even stop for a kid who just walked into the road? 🤯 I get that the child was being reckless, but 17 miles an hour is still really fast, you know? 🚗 Any human driver would've had time to react. The fact that the brakes were activated harder than what a human could do doesn't make me feel any better... it's like they're saying "sorry" instead of taking responsibility. 🤔 We need more research and testing on these things before we let them roam around freely, especially in areas with kids. Schools are meant to be safe zones, not playgrounds for self-driving cars! 🚫
