CES 2026 day 0: The biggest news you missed from the show's Monday press conferences

I don’t usually comment but I think LG's Big Bet on AI is kinda cool 🤖. I mean, who wouldn't want a robot that can just chill at home with you? CLOiD seems like a fun concept, even if it didn't really do much in the demo. But hey, it's not all about practicality, right?

I've been following NVIDIA's work on AI and robotics for ages, and they always seem to be pushing the boundaries of what's possible 🚀. I'm curious to see how their Vera Rubin supercomputer platform is gonna change the game.

As for Intel, Core Ultra Series 3 processors sound like a solid move 🤞. But, it'll be interesting to see if they can actually deliver on those promises and make high-end laptops that aren't just "expensive" 😅.

AMD's Ryzen AI 400 laptop processors are also looking pretty sweet 🎉. And the Ryzen 7 9850X3D for enthusiasts? That sounds like a dream come true for some of us techies 😉

I don’t usually comment but I think it's great that companies like Sony and Lego are exploring new projects and innovations 🌟. Who knows what we'll see next at CES? The show floor is still open, so stay tuned!

🤷‍♀️ honestly, AI is supposed to make our lives more "affectionate" but all i see is a bunch of fancy tech that's gonna break the bank 💸, like who needs a humanoid robot that just stands there looking pretty 🤖? and don't even get me started on the Wallpaper TV - because what every living room needs is a giant screen that'll make you feel like you're in a sci-fi movie 📺. am i missing something?

OMG 🤯 I'm so hyped for the future of AI! LG's "Affectionate Intelligence" vision is like something out of a sci-fi movie 🚀 CLOiD is literally gonna change our lives, but at the same time, I'm a bit skeptical about how practical it'll be in reality 🤔 Still super stoked to see what other companies are working on! NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform sounds insane 💻 Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 processors are like exactly what we need for high-end gaming PCs 🎮 And can we talk about the Smart Bricks initiative with Lego? That's like, the ultimate future tech 🔩

You know what struck me about all this fuss around AI? It's like we're trying to find that perfect connection between human emotions and technology 🤖💻. LG talks about "Affectionate Intelligence" but is it really just a marketing gimmick? Are we just projecting our desire for companionship onto these machines? And what does it mean when we say that AI should be intuitive, that it should feel like an extension of ourselves?

I'm also thinking about the bigger picture. We're investing so much in AI and robotics, but are we preparing ourselves for a world where humans are no longer the center of attention? What if these machines start to make decisions on our behalf without us even realizing it? It's a bit unsettling to think about 🤔.

And then there's the excitement around smart homes and automation. Is this just a way to make our lives more convenient, or is it a slippery slope towards losing control over our own space? 🏠💻
