Bank of England governor hits out at populism as Trump interferes in US Fed

you know what's wild? people thinking they can control markets and economies with populist rhetoric 🤯 it's like trying to hold water in your hands - the more you squeeze, the more it slips away... Bailey's right though, we need institutions that can tell leaders what they don't wanna hear, but we also need to acknowledge that these institutions are imperfect too 💡 the real question is how do we balance stability with accountability? and what does it say about our values when we're willing to sacrifice stability for short-term gains? 🤔
