After Minneapolis, Tech CEOs Are Struggling to Stay Silent

this is getting crazy 🤯. I'm literally shocked by how fast some of these CEO's changed their tune after Alex Pretti's death. like, what took them so long to speak out against trump's policies? 🙄 i mean, it was obvious that they were all about the benjamins and didn't care about the harm they were causing with their platforms. but now they're trying to play it cool and pretend like they actually cared about immigration reform and human decency... please 😒.

anyway, I think Daniela Amodei's post on LinkedIn was a great start. she's speaking truth to power and using her platform to advocate for change. maybe the others will follow suit? 🤞 i just hope that it's not too little, too late 💔. we need real change, not just empty words.

Just when you think those rich folks are above the law... 🤑 Their priorities are all about lining their pockets instead of using their platforms for good. How can they justify supporting a president who's responsible for such senseless violence? 🤔

I gotta say 🤔, this whole situation with CEOs and Trump is getting outta hand 💸. Like, I get that some people still think he's a strong leader, but come on 🙄, the hate crimes in Minneapolis were insane 😱. I'm not saying all these execs are compromised or anything, but it does seem like some of them are playing both sides to avoid getting roasted 🤷‍♂️. Like, Sam Altman, what's up with that "very strong leader" comment? 🙃 Doesn't sound too sincere to me 😒.

But hey, Daniela Amodei from Anthropic is speaking truth to power 💪, and Apple's Cook finally seems to be coming around 🔄. It's about time someone in the tech industry took a stand against all this hate and intolerance 🌟. Fingers crossed more CEOs will follow suit and show some real solidarity with people like Alex Pretti's family 👫.

🤔 I'm really concerned about the role of big tech companies in shaping public opinion, especially when it comes to divisive topics like hate speech and immigration reform. It's disappointing to see some CEOs profiting from their business dealings with Trump while also touting themselves as champions of free speech. 🤑

But on a more positive note, I'm heartened to see some execs starting to speak out against Trump's policies. Companies like Anthropic are taking a stand for human decency and civil liberties, and that's something we should all be supporting! 💪 It's about time some CEOs put their money where their mouth is and started using their platforms to make a real difference.

As someone who's lived through many significant events in my lifetime, I've seen how quickly public opinion can shift when enough people start speaking truth to power. So, let's keep the pressure on and hope that more execs will follow Cook's lead and start using their influence to promote positive change! 💥
