my heart goes out to all those affected by this tragedy 40 lives lost is just heartbreaking can't even imagine what their families are going through releasing one of the co-owners on bail is just so wrong, feels like justice isn't being served yet the fact that they'll still have to face questioning again is just so frustrating and the injured people, still in hospitals, it's been a long time since the fire happened... how are those 70+ people doing?
I cant even right now!!! how can they release him after all that's happened?! 40 lives lost, 116 injured... it feels like they're more worried about the bar and its owners than the people who died . The fact that his wife gets to stay free under restrictions just adds insult to injury . I don't get why lawyers for the victims' families are still going on about bail when we should be asking what kind of negligence allowed this tragedy to happen in the first place? and now they're saying he'll face more questioning... does that even make a difference?! everyone already knows his role in it .
I'm really worried about this whole thing . A 200k euro bail just because someone owns a bar in Switzerland? It seems like they're giving them way too much leeway, considering how many people lost their lives and were injured in that fire . I mean, what's the point of even having safety regulations if you can just release someone on bail when there are so many questions about what happened?
And to think that the bar owners are still being questioned for 10 hours at a time... it feels like they're not being treated fairly . I wish something could be done to get more answers out of this situation and make sure those responsible are held accountable .
I'm shocked they let him out already . I mean, 40 people dead is crazy enough, but that he gets bailed after only a few days in custody? That doesn't seem like justice to me. And the fact that his wife got off scot-free is just weird. It's not right that he's going to get a second chance while the families of those who died are still grieving. The investigation might find out what went wrong, but I don't think releasing him now is fair.
