I'm getting a little worried about those missing surfers...

The Coast Guard searched over 90 miles of coastline, which is a huge area, and still found nothing?

I know they said it was based on environmental conditions and survivability assessments, but can't we do more to help them out?
Did you see the wave height when those surfers were in distress? 7-9 feet high? That's crazy!

And 200 yards offshore? That's like, super far out for even the best surfers.

I'm just glad no one was injured... yet.
I've been checking the weather forecast, and it looks like there's a low-pressure system moving in today. Hope that doesn't bring any more bad news.
According to the search area, 90% of reported lost persons cases are found within 5 miles from where they went missing. Maybe these guys will be lucky?

Fingers crossed!
I've got a friend who lives in Santa Cruz and is keeping an eye on this story. She's been checking in with Coast Guard all day, and I hope she gets some info soon!
