Ross Noble review – master of nonsense unleashes his fizzing comic brain

I'm so done with this type of comedy where it's all about being "baffling" and "absurd". Can't they just tell a straight-up joke for once? I mean, I get that Ross Noble is good at what he does, but his shows are like eating a bag of popcorn - you're not really sure if you're getting something edible or just a handful of fluff. And don't even get me started on how expensive tickets are for these things... like, I'm not made of money, you know?

omg u guyz r 2 b die i just got back frm ross noble's show & im still laughing out loud!!! he's like a maestro of chaos or watever lol! i love how he makes u think hes just makin stuff up but its actually all so cleverly scripted his comedy is like nothin u've ever seen b4, its like a big ol' messy puzzle that u cant help but wanna solve and dont even get me started on dat bear & judi sketch anywayz i think hes the KING OF COMEDY right now

I think what I love most about Ross Noble's stand-up is how he expertly navigates that weird space between cleverness and silliness . It's not always easy to watch someone who's so consistently funny, but also somehow still manages to stay loose and unscripted. His ability to pivot on a moment's notice and turn a joke into something entirely new is truly impressive . At the same time, I can see how some people might find his shows' meandering quality exhausting – there's definitely a fine line between "absurdity" and just plain weirdness . Still, as an audience member, it's exhilarating to be along for the ride with him. He's like a comedic Sherpa, leading you through the wilderness of his own unique mind

I just got back from seeing Ross Noble's show and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it . I mean, some people might think he's just messing with them on stage but for me, that's what makes his comedy so brilliant – it's like he's having this crazy conversation with the audience and we're all just along for the ride .

I love how he can take these random topics and turn them into something hilarious, like Bear Grylls and Dame Judi Dench in the desert – I mean, who comes up with that stuff? . And what's great is that even if you don't know his style, you can still pick up on some of the jokes.

I mean, I get why people love Ross Noble's comedy, it's like he's speaking a different language or something . To me, it just feels like a bunch of random words strung together with some witty one-liners thrown in for good measure . I'm not saying he's not funny, but is that really what we're striving for in comedy nowadays? Just a big mess of weirdness and absurdity ? And don't even get me started on the scripted elements... like, isn't that just a cop-out?

omg i mean, i just saw Ross Noble's Cranium of Curiosities UK show and i'm still reeling from the experience! the guy is a genius at creating this never-ending spectacle that's equal parts hilarious and utterly bewildering. like, how does he do it? he somehow weaves together these crazy-long riffs and wordplay with such ease, it's like watching a comedic magician at work ✩

i love how some people might think his shows are all fluff, but trust me, there's so much depth to the guy's comedy. he's got this crazy ability to take even the most random topics (bear grylls and judi dench in the desert? ) and turn them into this cohesive, ridiculous narrative that never takes itself too seriously. it's like he's constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in comedy.

anyway, if you haven't seen Ross Noble live yet, do yourself a favor and get on that ASAP! his shows are truly one-of-a-kind experiences that will leave you laughing and scratching your head at the same time
