OMG, I'm so hyped for the Wafcon tournament this year! I mean, have you seen Cape Verde's team rise to fame? They're like a Cinderella story or something!
I mean, have you seen Cape Verde's team rise to fame? They're like a Cinderella story or something! And now they get to play in the big leagues with all these top teams. My heart is literally racing just thinking about it.

And poor South Africa, though... their coaching situation is like, super messy right now . I feel for Desiree Ellis, she's been through so much and deserves a break. But Thinasonke Mbuli's concerns about lack of preparation are totally valid. It's like, if you're not playing games against top teams at home, how can you expect to compete when the big stage comes around?

I'm also loving Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga's story, though - those sisters are goals! Signing with clubs abroad is such a huge opportunity for them to gain experience and shine on the global stage. And I think Mbuli's right that a pro domestic league would make all the difference for South Africa's team.

Can you even imagine if they do win it all? My South African friends are going to be like, totally stoked!

They're like the cool aunties of the football world, all grown up and playing abroad. Tabitha and Temwa are gonna slay it at Wafcon, no doubt about that.

And can we talk about Tabitha & Temwa Chawinga going for Wafcon? Malawi sisters are killing it abroad and it's so inspiring to see them rep their country on the biggest stage!
