FAA halts flights at embattled Newark Airport over shutdown ‘staffing issues’

🤦‍♂️ I just saw this news about Newark Airport being grounded due to "staffing issues" and I'm like, what's going on? Can't they just find some extra staff or something? 😩 I feel so bad for the passengers who are stuck at the airport right now. 40 minutes is a long time, especially when you're already stressed about missing your flight. 🕰️ I hope the FAA can get things back to normal soon. It's crazy that this is happening during the government shutdown - it just goes to show how critical these services are. 💼

I don’t usually comment but I just wanted to say that grounding all flights at Newark Airport is kinda crazy 🤯. Like, what even is a "staffing issue" when you have thousands of people showing up for work? It's not like they're running out of food or something in the break room 🍔👀. It's airports, folks! There are gonna be delays, I get it, but grounding all flights is just ridiculous. And what about the economy and business travelers who rely on these airports? It's like, come up with a plan to deal with this shortage or at least some sort of compromise 🤝. But yeah, 40 minutes delay isn't too shabby, I guess 😐
